Chess Supports The Prince's Trust

On 16th September 2008, Chess was proud to sponsor one of the prestigious races at The Prince's Trust first ever Charity Race Day, held at the famous Haydock Park Racecourse.

The event was a fantastic day with an afternoon of fine dining mixed with the excitement of horseracing at one of the country's premier courses.

Sponsoring this race was just one of many things Chess is doing to support The Prince's Trust. In the past, Chess people have worked as development coaches on the TEAM programme and raised over £7000 on The Prince's Trust's first ever North West Enterprise project.

Chief Executive has a high level of involvement with the charity, that raises funds to give disadvantaged young people opportunities they never though they'd have. As part of the North West  leadership group, he is organising a grand ball in 2009, which will take the group well on their way to their target of £2 million.

Currently, David is hiking, biking, kayaking and white water rafting from the Pacific to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, raising over £40,000 for the trust.
