Chess Celebrate National Customer Service Week

Chess Telecom joined the 1,700 organisations from around the
world to celebrate National Customer Service Week (NCSW)
earlier this month.

David Pollock, Chief Executive at Chess, commented
“Great Service comes from Great People, and at Chess we
believe we’ve got the best. Our people are passionate about
delivering great service to our customers, and celebrating
Customer Service Week gave us a chance to reflect on we
can become even better.”

It’s in Chess’ culture to exceed customer expectations and
hence Chess were proud to be the first telecoms company in
the UK to be accredited with the Customer First Award and to
earlier in the year win the Institute of Customer Service Quality
Service Provider of the Year award.

Chess hosted a number of competitions and incentives
throughout the week
which focused on the customer. This
included spot prizes for anyone who stood out for exceeding
customer expectations, sporting contests, and an “Apprentice”
style competition where contestants had to come up with
customer satisfaction improving and churn reducing ideas to
avoid being “fired”.

Chess Telecom was earlier this week named the winners of the
“Excellence in Customer Service” award
at the Wilmslow &
Macclesfield Business awards.
